Vaulting Horse

      Assisted by their newly tamed horse, pastoral Indo-European warriors carried with them, en route, a germinal tongue which has long endured: its linguistic descendants now embrace nearly half the population of the planet. Spread by the nomad along the horizontal axis of his conquests for land, resources and controlling interests this language formed one vessel for his values. And through grammar, vocabulary and syntax many of these concerns still stand, buried reflections of the ethos and priorities of their early users.

just a source of food but one which could also assist as an able servant; envisioned as a means of transport, those animals selected were thus fleet of foot and well-able to carry their burden. Complimenting the ubiquitous, slow-paced ox, this revamped horse - tamed now for draft, war, plough and herding - enabled that bold migratory burst out of the Pontic-Caspian homeland to penetrate India, Persia, Turkey and eventually all of Europe along with much of Asia.

     The sex lives of servants must always be attended to with care by those engaged in husbandry and breeding, as successful domestication requires the controlling of desires as well as the where and when of seed deposit.
